ABEST21 International General Assembly was held on March every year at our member institutions. Agenda included items discussed at the Board Meeting; financial statements, draft budget, ratification of accreditation and Good Practice Award, and draft of partial amendment of ABEST21 Quality Assurance system.
ABEST21 International General Assembly 2024
ABEST21 International Annual Meeting 2024 was held on March 18 and 19, 2024 at 12F, Souken-building, Aoyama Campus, Aoyama Gakuin University, Tokyo, Japan.

The Annual Meeting was held in-person just like the last year and about forty representatives from ABEST21 International school members participated the meeting. The meeting began with an accomplishment report for fiscal year 2023, a report on the financial statement, and a business plan for fiscal year 2024. ABEST21 International President Dr. Fumio ITOH granted Accreditation Certificates to representative of the accredited schools and crystal trophies to KAIZEN AWARD to the winning schools. The accredited schools and KAIZEN Award winning schools made their presentations. They introduced about their schools and shared knowledge obtained through ABEST21 Accreditation as well as their experiences through ABEST21 KAIZEN. In the day 2, a study tour of Tsukuba was held. With the cooperation of the Japan International Corporate Agency (JICA), we visited the JICA Training Center and gained various insights there. Also, we visited the JAXA Tsukuba Space Center (Tsukuba Center of Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency).
