1) Comprehensive Comments

The documents and interviews show that overall MM FEB UI had performed well in its KAIZEN efforts. The management of FEB had showed various initiatives and evidences to confirm that they are serious about the continuous improvement of the quality of the program.

  • Overall, based on the document and online interviews, it can be concluded that the KAIZEN performance is good, and improvements are implemented as planned. There is no major issue to highlight. FEB’s efforts for the program and institutional quality are attested by the accreditations that FEB now has. Nevertheless, based on the interviews, several suggestions are made as follows:
    Faculty:

    • Industry internships for faculty members are advisable to help them to update their industry knowledge.
    • The process of reporting publications can be simplified.
    • Better coordination and quality assurance for parallel classes is recommended.

    Administrative staff:

    • Reduce bureaucracy.
    • Add more staff members for academic matters.
  • Overall, the performance of MM FEB UI has increased from 2017 to 2019. To achieve its mission statement, MM FEB UI has made several key improvements:
    • The performance of lecturers in terms of publications and teaching is fully supported by the university and faculty through adequate funding.
    • Student performance is enhanced through global networking (student exchanges and double degrees with one of the universities in France), as well as industrial networking (internships or industrial visits).
    • Facility improvement: books and other facilities (lecturer room, prayer room), to create a clean and comfortable campus based on humanity.

MM FEB UI has been able to increase global networking and industry networking by collaborating with foreign universities for student exchange and international research projects.
