Faculty of Accountancy and Management, Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman, Selangor, Malaysia

1. Accreditation Comprehensive Review

Evaluation:

“ABEST21 certifies that the School’s educational and research activities satisfy more than half of accreditation standards. However, there is room for Kaizen in quality maintenance and prospects for the improvement of education and research. Accreditation commences April 1, 2021 for a five-year period.”

PRT Comprehensive Comments:

The School has implemented a good learning system, but the uniqueness of the study program (MBA-Corporate governance) must be demonstrated by clear learning outcomes that can provide added value to graduates.
Achievement of performance indicators must also show improvement in the future. This is based on the superiority of the available resources and the updated learning content.

2. Good Practice in the Program Management Education

Title:

“Operational administrative system”

Reasons:

The School has an excellent administrative system. However, in the future this system must be in line with the expected curriculum and learning outcomes. For example, the number and quality of the foreign students who attend the School must be improved.

3. Matters to be noted

The School’s performance appraisal system is good, but it must be supported by good human resource capabilities. In addition, the School must invest in a more progressive marketing strategy that emphasizes the advantages and uniqueness of the study program.
