Mission and Goals
As one of the members of 2004 Global Knowledge Network Conference, we exchanged significant views and opinions and agreed to promote business school education on a global basis by encouraging mutually beneficial collaboration work among the member institutions. We believed that there are many areas where we could explore and interact under international cooperation during this 21st century. This conviction led us to the decision of establishing an organization, "The Alliance on Business Education and Scholarship for Tomorrow, a 21st century organization" (ABEST21).
ABEST21 was established on July 1st, 2005 as a non-profit organization with this targeting goal in the pursuit of fulfilling our missions.
The mission of ABEST21 is to advance management education of business schools on a global basis by encouraging mutual cooperation among our member institutions. The mission can be accomplished through the following viewpoints:
- By proving advice and support to educational and research activities of our member institutions, our members are encouraged to continually strive to advance global business education.
- By advancing management education through business accreditation.
- By sharing information on curriculum and teaching materials.
- By promoting joint research projects, joint courses, international symposium and global classroom opportunities.
